BRICS is an intergovernmental organization comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates. In November 2024, Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Sugiono announced that Indonesia has sent an official application to join BRICS partner.
